Unbeaten teen heavyweight Hughie Fury aims to make it a lucky 13 when he features at the Copper Box Arena on February 15th. Undefeated Fury has stormed to 12 wins inside a year of turning pro, stopping seven early, and takes on American Matt Greer over six rounds. The 19-year-old from Manchester joins his cousin Tyson who takes on Gonzalo Omar Basile in a ten-round contest, with Dereck Chisora headlining in a defense of his WBO/WBA International titles against Kevin Johnson. Greer (16-13, 11 KOs) has been kayoed in five of his last seven fights.

“Greer is a good step up for me as he’s mixed with world level fighters so I can’t wait to take the challenge and show the boxing fans that I can deal with the experience for someone my age. I’m looking forward to the fight very much.” said Fury. “He’s fought the likes of Wilder, Ruiz Jr. and Shimmell and also Dennis Boystov and Kevin Johnson. If he gives me some rounds then great, it’s all experience in the tank for me at my age, but if I see the opening early I’ll take him out of there. I’m in no rush to a title fight, I’m enjoying fighting regularly and learning my trade with each fight. Team Fury is building up towards the top, I’m enjoying the ride, but when the time comes for a world title I’ll be good and ready.”

Good fighter this kid considering his age and the division he is stepping into....heres hoping he doesn't turn into a knob-head like his cousin!

Isn't Greer a human lard ball?

Either way, good to see Fury in action again.

When a 19 year kid is in a pro ring, it's a good thing, no matter the opponent. Peter knows what's best.

I was trying to think if I'd seen anything of Hughie Fury and was about to go on to YouTube to see what the fuss was all about. After a trip back to his record I have twice, both times live in fact. In Belfast City Hall and Dundalk. If memory serves he has a nice relaxed style and puts the punches together well. I think he has skills and moves well for a heavyweight, maybe lacks chilling power but could still go places.

Don't reckon he has the pizazz or star power of an Anthony Joshua mind you and I can't see them meeting soon but a nice work in progress none the less.
