Ricky Burns and his manager Alex Morrison are extremely unhappy with the recent postponement of their unification fight against IBF champion Miguel Vazquez.
Vazquez pulled out earlier today stating that he had a virus and would not recover in time for the March 16th show at Wembley arena.
It is the second fight in a row WBO champ Burns has had pulled from him and his manager is hit out at Warren.
“We are very unhappy with this latest postponement,” Morrison told STV.
“Especially after the fight was called off in December, and now this. This is unacceptable.
“I spoke to Ricky this morning. As you can imagine he's upset.
"He's sacrificed a lot, training and the cost of sparring partners. That's about £12,000 of his own money in training costs he's now down over the last two fights.
"The treatment of him is pretty disrespectful.”
Morrison even went as far to say that he would not confirm Burns would appear on the rescheduled card on April 20th.
"They can say what they want about it. I'm not saying if it is or isn't going to go ahead on that day.
"Let's just say our relationship with Frank Warren is pretty strained."
Burns had earlier tweeted how disappointed he was. “Absolutely gutted this fight ain't happening, another training camp and it's fell through.
“Not only that, feel sorry for the fans, my friends and family who have now booked tickets, flights and hotels for 2 fights for it to fall through.”
Frank Warren though said he wasn’t to blame and it is just one of those things: "It's very unfortunate that Vazquez has had to withdraw so close to the fight.
“But it is on medical grounds, which is beyond my control, due to his viral infection, and we have his doctor's certificate confirming this.
"Therefore I have had to postpone the fight, not cancelled as stated in some media reports, to Saturday 20 April at Wembley Arena.”
