Amir "King" Khan has announced via Twitter that his next fight will take place at a venue as of yet TBD in the U.K and that the fight, which will be shown on Showtime, will take place on April 27th. Perhaps not so coincidentally, April 27th the same night that Danny Garcia (who knocked Khan out last year) will face Zab Judah in New York. The rumored frontrunner to be Khan's opponent is veteran Julio Diaz.

hopefully it doesn't come off. wonder if khan is game enough to fight peterson in april. peterson's slow starts puts khan in the driver's seat, but i'd love to see that rematch happen due to peterson's grit

they're just building amir back up...he should be fighting top guys again in his very next fight in the summer/fall so i wouldnt make too big deal about his choice of opponent in april...

as much as i dont like Khan i agree, there is no point in throwing him back in with a top class opponent he needs to re build his confidence again and then depending o nhow he preforms in this fight will determine who he fights next, hopefully i will come around to hom but only time will tell
