“I have been offered an opportunity to fight in Poland for far more money than I would get for fighting Kubrat Pulev. Meaning no disrespect to Pulev, he has never held a major title and never headlined a televised card. Any money generated by the promotion would, for the most part, be generated by my popularity. I owe it to my family to engage in the most financially rewarding bouts, and engaging in a bout with Kubrat Pulev at this time simply does not make financial sense. I have spoken with the President of the IBF, Daryl Peoples, and informed him that, for the above reasons, I have withdrawn from the IBF box-off. I also thanked the IBF for the support it has shown me and the sport of boxing over the past years.”
Not exactly shocking thats life Pulev is a heavyweight version of Golovkin without a title, high risk for low reward
I dont understand what everybody sees in pulev, hes a decent heavyweight sure but his best wins are against dimitrenko and ustinov, make him fight guys like wilder or banks maybe even guys like price, fury or arreola to see what he is really about

It's the amateur experience. Pulev knows how to box. He has a win over Solis in the amateurs the year before Solis won the Gold in Athens in 2004.
All the Americans are guys whose NFL or NBA dreams flamed out and decided to try boxing in their 20s.
Price is a china-chin that's waiting to be exposed as a pro.
Fury would be a good fight, but Fury's people ain't letting that happen until Fury gets a crack at Klitschko, even though in a just world Fury would have to get past a guy like Pulev to get Klitschko.
I think Pulev clearly beats Arreola, but even if he does, it proves very little in terms of how he'd fair against a Klitschko.
Pulev's just gonna wait his turn, he's the #1 contender in the IBF rankings, he'll be Wlad's mandatory soon enough.
Shameful ducking by Goral.

he needs to fight guys in the more top tier of the heavyweight division or wladimir would just pick him apart easily, atleast if he fights more better ranked and styled/ seasoned fighters before challenging for the title he can make a somewhat competitive fight against wladimir either then just getting beaten half to death, Price is not China chinned either not seen him being shown having that but then again he aint fighting top tier competition or anyone who can exchange or punish him and again this is the professional league
amateur record as good as it is counted and is experience does not matter much in the professionals its a whole different game there altogether fighters can change for better or for worse from their amateur days

He knows he was beat in his last fight and his confidence is low....
Would be a good fight against Marco Huck though.......
