Per Floyd Mayweather, the recently injured Devon Alexander is the current frontrunner to land the fight as Floyd's opponent on 5/4. Floyd had this to say via Twitter:
"The negotiations for my fight are almost done. The front runner is IBF Champion Devon Alexander. It’d be a unification bout at welterweight."
Alexander is a new, and very much unexpected name that's been thrown into the ring. A name that most boxing fans will not be happy with. Alexander had a fight lined up with undefeated British up and comer Kell Brook but pulled out due to injury. The previous perceived frontrunners were Robert Guerrero and Juan Manuel Marquez. Stay tuned.

It ain't signed yet.It could just be a ploy to get all his haters riled up.
If it were to be signed it would be his worst choice of opponent since Marquez.
