for sparring you will need at least 16oz gloves mate, for padwork I always use 10oz gloves. my 10oz one's at everlast but I also have a pair of Reyes which were gift but they cost £200 a pair.

My trainer mentioned to me today about a pair that were 14oz at £40 but for life of me I can't remember the brand.
