A lightweight bout between Danny Castillo (11-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Jacob Volkmann (12-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) is set for UFC on Versus 5.

UFC officials today announced the bout.

UFC on Versus 5 takes place Aug. 14, and the event now is set for the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The night's main card airs live on Versus, though Catillo vs. Volkmann likely will be part of the untelevised preliminary card.

Castillo joined the UFC earlier this year after a long stint in the WEC, where he went 5-3 and finished the run with back-to-back wins over Dustin Poirier and Will Kerr. Then, after the UFC-WEC merger, Castillo made his octagon debut and pushed his win streak to three with a unanimous-decision victory over former UFC title challenger Joe Stevenson.

Castillo, an NAIA All-American wrestler, now meets Volkmann, a Big Ten champion and NCAA Division I All-American at the University of Minnesota.

Volkmann, who's now a chiropractor, opened his UFC career with losses to Paulo Thiago and Martin Kampmann. But he held onto his job with split-decision victories over Ronny Torres and Antonio McKee in recent UFC fights.

In a recent interview with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com), Volkmann detailed how he was investigated by the Secret Service after he jokingly said he wanted to fight President Barack Obama. He said he plans to use MMA as a platform to speak out against the President's healthcare policies.

There goes my theory anyway lol. Hope Volkmann wins so we can hear what he has to say afterwards.
