Not only is Eddie Chambers not the first Eddie Chambers to be a professional boxer (which in itself isn't all that surprising), but he isn't even the first Eddie Chambers to fight out of Philadelphia. It turns out that a Welterweight named Eddie Chambers fought out of Philadelphia back in the early 1900s. Here's his boxrec page:

He actually won/loss against some credible opposition too.

Pound for pound the old eddie chambers is the best, he had some bad luck in his 31 losses.
